This property was one of the main reasons for the creation of the City’s Nuisance Task Force. The former property owner vacated the property and abandoned it. The City attempted several times to have the owner sell the property, but after losing contact with her, the City petitioned the City’s municipal housing court for a receiver. The property was then sold, and it is currently being rehabilitated.
