PAWTUCKET – Pawtucket and Central Falls were recently awarded a $90,000 grant from the Rhode Island Department of Administration to develop a Joint Bicycle/Pedestrian Master Plan. CENTRAL FALLS, RI – Central Falls Mayor James A. Diossa announced that the city has launched a new hiring campaign to fill vacancies and create eligibility lists for both firefighters and police officers as the city continues to diversify the departments.
CENTRAL FALLS, RI – On Wednesday, January 17th Mayor James A. Diossa signed into law New England’s first Green and Complete Streets Ordinance. The bill, which was approved unanimously by the city council, will allow for a transportation system that minimizes environmental impact and creates streets that are safe for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or mode of transportations.
