CENTRAL FALLS, RI – On Saturday, November 11th, Mayor James A. Diossa and the City of Central Falls celebrated Veterans Day with the Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony of the brand-new Veterans Memorial Park where the former Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1271 once stood.
Central Falls joins force with the RI Department of Labor and Training, and the Workforce Partnership of Greater RI.

CENTRAL FALLS, RI – On Friday, September 29th, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., join Mayor James A. Diossa and the City of Central Falls in the final Salsa Night of the year on Roosevelt Ave Bridge. This event, which promises to be even larger than the last three that averaged over 1,500 people, will also be accepting donations for the disaster reliefs in both Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Central Falls to host 2017 Restaurant Week highlighting its diverse Options
CENTRAL FALLS, RI – Mayor James A. Diossa and the City of Central Falls are gearing up for the 2017 Central Falls Restaurant Week beginning on Monday, August 28th and running through Sunday, September 3rd.
Central Falls Mayor James Diossa joined 100 mayors and county officials from 35 states in delivering a letter today to President Trump calling on him to continue the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program until a legislative solution is enacted for all undocumented immigrant youth, otherwise referred to as Dreamers. Under DACA, nearly 800,000 undocumented immigrants brought to the country as children received work permits and deferral from deportation.Read more
