Central Falls to host 2017 Restaurant Week highlighting its diverse Options
CENTRAL FALLS, RI – Mayor James A. Diossa and the City of Central Falls are gearing up for the 2017 Central Falls Restaurant Week beginning on Monday, August 28th and running through Sunday, September 3rd.
Residents and visitors throughout the state will be able experience a variety of cuisines at over 15 locations all offering specials in honor of this year’s restaurant week. Central Falls is known for its diverse restaurant scene that includes cuisines from across the globe, including America, Central America, Venezuela, Portugal & Cape Verde, and Colombia. It truly is a world of flavors in a square mile.
“This year’s Central Falls restaurant week will be our best one yet,” said Central Falls Mayor James Diossa. “Our city has one of the best restaurant scenes in the state, though not many know about it. Restaurant Week is about highlighting the many great establishments we have here. We may be a small city, but we have big flavor!”
This year, the City of Central Falls is partnering with the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, Navigant Credit Union, and the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce to bring more visitors to the city. Participating restaurants include:
El Antojo, Beirão Restaurante, Budare Grille, La Casona, Costa Del Sol Restaurant, El Gallo de Oro, Georgia’s Family Restaurant, Montecristo Restaurant, El Salvadoreño Restaurant, La Sorpresa, Stanley’s Famous Hamburgers, Taqueria Lupita, Tienda De Alinary, Tres Amigos, and Village Pizza
